Located in Hennepin County, St. Louis Park is a city with an estimated population of 45,250. The city is situated just west of Minneapolis with surrounded by adjacent cities such as Edina, Golden Valley, Minnetonka, Plymouth and Hopkins. In its early history, St. Louis Park was originally a village known as Elmwood in the 1860s. In 1886, a petition was signed asking county commissioners to incorporate the Village of St. Louis Park, and it was officially registered the same year.

St. Louis Park Public Schools -St. Louis Park Public Schools comprises of four elementary schools, one middle school and one high school, serving a total of approximately 5,000 students.
